Tour Itinerary:

Day 01 Beijing (Lunch)
09:00 Our Guide will pick you up from your hotel. Be transferred to the Temple of Heaven. Every morning a great number of local people come to the Temple of Heaven and do morning activities like Taiji Quan, Qigong, Kung Fu, singing, dancing etc. Your Taiji instructor will offer you one hour's lecture on Chinese Taichi on the spot starting with a demonstration of the basic steps of Taichi. After lunch, tour to the Forbidden City. Then visit the Beihai Park. After the tour, be transferred to your hotel.

Temple of Heaven: The Temple of Heaven, completed in 1420 during the reign of Ming Emperor Yongle, originally served as the most sacred space in which the emperor (the Son of Heaven) would perform the most important sacrifices and rites. The gods of earth, water, war, and civilian affairs were all honored, but it was the god of agriculture who received special attention. On the winter solstice, the emperor, after ritual fasts and purification, would beseech Heaven for bountiful harvests. The temple's layout reflects the Confucian/Daoist worldview that anchored the imperial order, with the square bases of the circular temples articulating the relationship between Earth and Heaven - the emperor serving as intermediary, administering human affairs on behalf of the divine order. The most distinctive temple in the complex, and one of the most famous buildings in China, is the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests.
Forbidden City: Also known as the Imperial Palace or the Palace Museum. It is the most visited attraction for any Beijing tour. The construction of Forbidden City took 14 years and was finished in 1420. In the following years, 24 emperors, 14 in the Ming Dynast and 10 in the Qing Dynasty lived in the palace. It is the biggest and best-preserved cluster of ancient buildings in China; and it covers 720,000 square meters with 800 buildings and 9,000 rooms in total.
Beihai Park: This classically elegant palace garden is one of China's oldest and largest imperial gardens. Beihai Park was built during the Kin Dynasty some 800 years ago as a resort and was used by successive emperors in the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. The garden is centred on the lake, in the middle of which is Jade Islet, also known as White Dagoba Hill. The hill is topped by a 35.9-metre-high white dagoba and covered with halls, pavilions and corridors. On the northern bank are the Five-Dragon Pavilions and Nine-Dragon Screen with a glazed bas-relief pattern of nine dragons in five colours.
